Our clinic specializes in vertigo treatment and all ear, nose and throat problems. We have the right state of the art equipment at the clinic for correct diagnosis to enable proper treatment. This investigation needs to be done before other form of investigations needing scans like CT and MRI.
Vertigo is a common syndrome in people suffering from headache. The person is frightened and has difficulty in performing any activity. Different tests are available at our clinic. They are laser assisted and fully computerized to eliminate human error.
Most patients do not know which doctor to visit, oscillating between ENT specialists, neurologists, orthopaedics, physicians. VERTIGO SERVICES
Video Nystagmography (VNG)
VNG tests the vestibulo ocular reflex (VOR), which maintains the body’s balance; and the oculomotor system, which controls stabilization and fixation of gaze.
Subjective Visual Vertical (SVV)
Subjective Visual Vertical (SVV) investigates the otolith system disorders to assess verticality, linear acceleration and chronic dizziness.
Craniocorpography (CCG)
Craniocorpography (CCG) assesses the vestibulospinal reflex, accountable for maintenance of the body’s balance.
Computerized Dynamic Visual Acuity
Computerized Dynamic Visual Acuity (DVA) investigates the patient’s capacity to maintain the image on the fovea of the retina while the head is moving.
OUR DOCTOR
A consultant ENT surgeon practicing in Thane, Dr. Swapna Bhole has done her MBBS from G.S. Medical college and K.E.M. Hospital and postgraduation in ENT from B.Y.L. Nair Hospital Mumbai. Thereafter, she worked as assistant professor. She has been practicing for the last 12 years in the city of Thane. She has special interest in vertigo management.
